Facilities:
Banquet room:
Is a private room overlooking the lawn and vineyard. It is ideal for business meetings, birthday parties, anniversaries, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners and intimate wedding receptions. In the banquet room we can accomodate up to 56 people seated with round tables, or 60 people seated in a conference format for business meetings. The room can accommodate 80 people for buffet style events.
The lawn:
Is a beautifully landscaped area that is able to accommodate up to 500 people. The lawn is perfect for larger wedding receptions, fundraising events, reunions, etc.

James River Cellars Winery has 4 tents in 3 different sizes and 20 picnic tables available for rent. Sides for the tents are available upon request.
Gazebo:
For wedding ceremonies James River Cellars Winery has a metal gazebo. It is available at no additional charge. The gazebo can be set up in various locations.
Additional information:
Rental equipment:
If additional or alternative equipment is required, a list of rental companies can be provided. Outside equipment set-up can be done during business hours, removal should be scheduled on the day following the event.
Privacy:
The winery is open seven days a week. Private parties are allowed any time during normal business hours, but please note, that we can not close the main entrance of the winery to the public. After 6 p.m. the winery can be reserved exclusively for an event.
Catering:
We do not have catering on site; you are welcome to bring in any caterer of your choice. You or your caterer are allowed to bring in beer (with ABC license), however liquor and outside wine are not permitted.
Preferred caterer: Champagne Taste Catering (804-439-0547) 
Requirements:
To book the event we require a non-refundable Deposit based on the event date, a signed contract, and a signed credit card authorization form for the $200.00 Security Deposit and Final Payment. The remainder of the facility rental fee is due one week prior to the event. The cost of the wine is due at the conclusion of the event. You will be responsible for clean-up, otherwise you will forfeit the Security Deposit.
